The news can't beat what just has to happen!

Don't watch the news they say - stay positive - avoid talkback and negative people. Last week was one of those weeks where you could hardly avoid what was going on - yes the All Blacks won, the Warriors won and it all looked positive. Spring is here and buyer activity was up. Interest rates were coming down.

Then the financial news took over. You just couldn't avoid it.  It had an impact on all markets. One auction I attended lost a buyer that day because the buyer was made redundant that day. There was an air of, "What next?" about some sales teams. You need to believe, We can still win - we can still make sales.

Despite what other say there is still business to be done and someone has to do it. Make it you.

Believe it can be you. Maintaining a positive attitude is only the start.

Expect less and the danger is you will accept less.

Courage starts the steps and energy maintains them . Skill is what makes it worthwhile though.

Yes being positive is one thing, as is engaging in only dollar productive actiivty. 

THE KEY TO MAKE IT ALL WORTHWHILE IS MAKING SURE YOU HAVE AWESOME SKILL LEVELS AT ALL THE KEY TASKS. WITHOUT YOUR INVESTMENT IN HIGH SKILL LEVELS YOU RISK WASTING ALL THAT EFFORT.

Key skills in: rapport, prospecting, qualifying, appraising, listing, marketing, closing, NEGOTIATION, Auctions and having reflexive answers to all the common objections -the right scripts and dialogues are the keys in today's market.

So get those skills up as despite the news there is always busines to be done:

Some people just HAVE TO SELL

others, just HAVE TO BUY,  AND THEY ALL NEED HIGHLY SKILLED REALTORS.
