Ian Keightley

Ian is an experienced, successful and practical business person who has worked in the property industry since February 1981 after several years as a teacher.

He has worked as a Salesperson, Manager, Business Owner, Trainer, Auctioneer, Franchisor and Industry Consultant.

Ian spent many years in Rotorua in ownership of the Professionals office, then called McDowell Keightley.

Ian is ex CEO of The Professionals Group in NZ and Executive Director of Harcourts Group.

In 1999 Ian established his training business to provide training and consulting services to the real estate industry and beyond.

Salescoach over this time created a strong reputation for effective and practical training and has provided training manuals for 3 national groups. Ian has spent a little time back in the corporate world and at the real estate coal face. This has made sure that Ian’s training material is up to the minute – to maintain this close touch with market reality Ian continues working with active real estate marketers, assisting in the procuring of listings, preparing the sellers to meet the market and calling auctions.

Ian has worked in product development and seminars in NZ and Australia and is recognised as one of the industry’s top trainers, motivator, coach and speaker.

Ian has produced, and markets a very comprehensive Manual - The Real Estate Performance Academy, audio sets and a Magical DVD - Listing and Marketing Magic
