Rise above the pack

Over the past few weeks I have heard many stories about the changing market we are currently experiencing. Many are disheartened and negative and not focused on doing what needs to be done to create more income. This change is one to be embraced. It creates opportunity for you to step outside the square and be noticed. It is not a time to batten down the hatches and look for ways to cut costs. Be bold and courageous and invest in yourself or your team to ensure they are equipped with the skills and marketing tools to make a difference.

It has been exciting to visit many offices over recent weeks and experience the passion and energy contained within. The salespeople are still marketing themselves in imaginative ways to lift themselve above the rest. Their leaders are inspirational - leading by example and erasing negativity before it becomes a habit. These offices are building a success culture which is enviable. The difference is obvious and they are gaining market share whilst their competition "battens down the hatches." 

Take time this week to look at how you can do something to lift yourself or your team above the crowd. Sure it may mean a financial investment, however you reap what you sow, and the benefits long term will far outweigh the costs.
