Maintaining an expectation of a result - the sale- is a key to success when everyone around you is lamenting the lack of sales activity and talking about how hard it is. The Law of Expectation says we "Don't get what we want, but rather what we expect."
This week your focus could be on "expecting a positive result". So it's time to go and create a sale and some places to look or ask might be;
Your favourite client.
Your most frequent client.
Your favourite product.
The client you may have forgotten
The client you are avoiding
The sale you have given up on
The listing that is over-priced but whose owner needs to sell soon.
The clients you have never asked to buy.
Increase the marketing.
Re-write the marketing. Solve the problem rather than sell the property.
Implement all simple tools for all sales/listings. Sometimes we looked for "special" or "super" ideas and forgot to implement the basics. Leave no stone unturned, no matter how smooth.
Ask your whole database for a lead.
When the market is slow, you have lots of time to go and ASK. A good question to ask yourself 8 times a day - "Is what I am doing right now the most useful/productive thing I could be doing?
Will this lead to a positive result?
Look for a result - create a result. If the results you want are not coming to you then you have to go to the result. This week, once again do something you have been putting off. It's time!
