Some things you can't avoid

Hi [name] and welcome to my Weekly Insight for Monday 9th March 2009

Some things you just can't avoid

Often you experience normal events in life that reinforce a simple lesson in business or sales.

This last few days we have moved house and office and whilst it is now 90% completed I was reminded time and time again of all the tasks we would rather not do. On top of this we remained focused on completing our weekly business activities!

But to get the job done they had to be done. The tasks weren't innovative, exciting, flashy or that much fun but they were vital to our success. Packing, cleaning, lifting, unpacking and finding again. I guess you remember the last time you moved?

Even though we didn't want to do some of these things we did them and now all is settled.

Most jobs have those tasks too. Many of us look for new or innovative (maybe easier) ways to do our job. The risk is we avoid the core tasks that can't be avoided.

This is the market where YOU MUST engage in CORE tasks - they just can't be avoided!! If there are any gaps in your business check you are not avoiding the tasks that just MUST be done.

AND MOST CORE TASKS TODAY IN SALES IS ABOUT FINDING PROSPECTS!
