When it's time to rest

Another lesson - when it's time to rest, take the time.

This last week has been fascinating in many respects but most of all was our bodies talking and saying "Take a rest". Yes there is always lots to do, people to call, presentations to make, notes to write, people to follow up. In recent weeks we have seen the stubborn work on with a cold, the "You can't do without me's" battling that cough.

By Friday, we too were experiencing those symptons. 3 days of rest have us nearly back to full strength and ready to produce. Sometimes it's quicker to let such things take their course while you rest, rather than fight them while you work. It's okay to admit you are not well so long as you take time out and fix it. Never be afraid to admit you need a rest to recoup or recover. It shows that you respect yourself more than your work.
