Hi [name] and welcome to my Weekly Insight for Monday 13th September 2010

The Blackbird's morning message.

Our garden has a variety of birds, from Tuis, Fantails, Lorrikeets, several Tahou and one very prominent blackbird.  Each morning the Tui has a quiet chat and then the blackbird takes over.  Not only is he on time every morning, he persists for longer than any of the other birds.

During the day he is the most visible of all the birds. Several times he will be seen on the lawn or in the garden feeding, followed by another singing session in the same tree as the morning session.   Other birds may get a passing mention, but when "birds" come to mind, it is the blackbird that is TOP OF MIND. It's a great lesson in personal marketing and being TOP OF MIND in your market.  Are you making a "noise" in your market and maintaining "visibility"?

The blackbird is ON-TIME, REGULAR, VISIBLE, CONSISTENT, PERSISTENT and REPETITIVE. As a result he is TOP of MIND. He also gets the WORM.

When we look at successful salespeople and sales teams we KNOW the their TOP of MIND strategy is a big part of their success. Perhaps the Blackbird's game plan can help you take a leap up in the TOP OF THE MINDS in your market focus area?
