Last night I had the pleasure and privilege to attend and MC a truly unique event.

The 100th birthday of McDowell Real Estate (Professionals) in Rotorua.

How many privately owned real estate companies can claim 100 years and the founder's family are still shareholders and active in the business? I had the privilege too of being a 50% shareholder in this business in the latter 1980's and early 1990's.  It was a great place to work. Some salespeople have been there 25 years.

Not only am I proud to have been involved, but last night the pride of all the team of 40 was obvious. Their culture, their "family" approach, their professionalism have all combined to create a business with a tremondously loyal team and loyal client base. Their pride brings them business because they believe in their brand, their name and their leaders.

Clearly their pride brings them business. That's a cool way to get business.   

Pride brings business!
